Changes to value-added services for ODS groups

In our recent review and evaluation of the value-added services we provide our groups, we decided to make some changes to ensure that we're offering the most innovative, effective programs.

We are phasing out the Cascade Centers Employee Assistance Program (EAP) because of low utilization and will be offering other value-added services beginning in July. One of the new offerings is WorldDoc 24/7, an online ODS tool that can improve the health of your clients' employees and reduce the cost of healthcare for their employees.

Important dates

Today - Please stop promoting the EAP to your potential groups.
March 31, 2009 - If you signed up a 51+ group on or before this date, they will continue to have the EAP available until the group's renewal date.
April 1, 2009 - Any new groups signed up on or after this date, regardless of size, will not have access to the EAP.
June 2009 - We will begin communicating with certain groups via e-mail, letter or in-person to let them know how this change will affect their group and how they can continue the EAP if they so choose.
July 1, 2009 - The EAP is no longer available to ODS small groups (50 or less). WorldDoc becomes available via myODS to all groups with ODS Rx.
Jan. 1, 2010 - The EAP is no longer available to ODS Advantage Medicare members.

Continuing EAP
